The first session of Dr. Sketchy's Las Vegas will be Saturday June 7th from 3pm-5pm.
We are happy to announce a very special location for this session, The Lounge at the Palms.
This launching of the Dr.
Sketchy's Las Vegas branch will be during The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend.
This is a very exciting event. Besides being the launch for Dr. Sketchy's Las Vegas this will also be an "all-star" session of Dr. Sketchy's.


Your hosts for the event are as follows:
Nicola Black is an established and well-known graphic designer specializing in print media. After graduating from The University of the Arts, she established her own business and has worked with clients including Dr. Sketchy's, The Peek-A-Boo Revue, TLA Entertainment Group, and DVD Empire among other entertainment ventures. After designing various pieces for the NY branch of Dr. Sketchy's, including their current press release, Nicola became infatuated with the world Miss Crabapple was creating . She decided it was time to organize a Philadelphia chapter and has used her extensive design and marketing skills to brand the branch. Dr. Sketchy's Philly has attracted quite a local audience and has recieved a tremendous response.

Wild Card Kitty
is a self-styled Cheerleader of Chaos. She has a unique and irreverent style of her own that makes her a most individual performer. With a dry sense of humour and keen sense of irony, she carries off her acts with a wink and a charismatic smile. Inspired by everything from the ludicrous to the wicked in life she adapts everything to her own eclectic and exceptional sense of style.Kitty is at ease onstage whether performing comedic routines, slinky striptease or just the downright strange . Drawing upon her influences of MGM musicals, Film Noir and her love of travel (having lived all over the UK and even in Sweden) she has an unbridled and incomparable imagination. With a penchant for underlying messages or simply winding up covered in foodstuffs in her performances, she certainly is one Wild Card of a performer. Trained in stilt-walking and static trapeze, she is currently training in bullwhip (you never know when needed) and re-training in fire toys, she has been performing burlesque under various guises and personas (performance art!) since 2001, before becoming a Showgirl in 2003 for the Legendary Vegas! Club night with whom she's travelled all over the UK and even to Europe. All this combined for her to arrive at her inevitable current status as a highly adaptable Performer in search of the next challenge.

Cha Cha Velour is a member of the Las Vegas based burlesque troupe Babes in Sin.
She has been performing with them since 2006 and has been described as "a voluputous shimmy and shaker who can twirl tassels like like a windmill in a hurricane. Always creative when it comes to her acts, this vavoom girl will have you hooked with her shapely hips, raven hair, and dazzling smile." Cha Cha will be running Dr. Sketchy's Las Vegas and is super excited to have it's launch at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend at the Palms.

Your models for the event are as follows:
Polly Wood is graduate of Miss Indigo Blue's Academy of Burlesque in Seattle, she has been stripping her way around the Emerald city for a year and a half now. Polly is also 1/2 of the duo "The Betty Crockers" (They cook, they clean, they show you their in-betweens), with the super-powered Rhinestone Housewife herself, Hottie McNaughty! In February, she made her Seattle Dr.
Sketchy's debut, and she's delighted to be posing again at Exotic World! Polly delights audiences with wit, camp, and if you are lucky, barbecue sauce!

Dralinda Just Darlinda has been working as a burlesque performer in New York since 2003. She coined the term "polyester performance", an inspiring mixture of burlesque, modern dance, performance art, comedy sketch, and drag queen ballet. She holds a degree in teledramatic arts and technology from California State University, Monterey Bay. In this program Darlinda was given the tools to integrate many art forms,theater, film, video, new media, and radio. Focusing on live performance she's produced burlesque events in New York City and California.
Since October 2005 Darlinda has continued to produce her own brand of burlesque show, most recently "GREEN WITH ENVY BURLESQUE" in February of 2008 as part of her "living art project" Year in Rainbow.
In February 2007 Darlinda was honored to perform with Julie Atlas Muz at PS122 Divine Comedy of an Exquisite Corpse. In October of 2007 Darlinda participated in the Feminist Neo-Burlesque Symposium at The Central School of Speech and Drama at the University of London.

Scarlett Letter, like most dancers in Hollywood, has been performing since childhood. However, her experiences have helped her develop a strong capacity for performing off the cuff and from the hip. During her lonely days in rural Nevada, she spent many a night performing under the glow of a black and white TV, dancing along with the best. She quickly developed an "I can do that" attitude and jumped at every performance opportunity that came her way. Upon moving to California, she put her dreams of a chorus girl life on the backburner and earned a bachelors in Performing Arts Management. Since her graduation, it has been all systems go.

Now, she is using the skills acquired growing up Mormon to keep her trunk full of award winning costumes and ready for every situation. Scarlett has performed in a wide variety of venues including the World Famous Derby, The Queen Mary in Long Beach, The Whiskey a Go-Go, and The Arches in Glasgow. She has also performed in Tucson, Vancouver, Albuquerque, Seattle, Las Vegas and Boston, where she was awarded the title of "Most Classic" at the Great Boston Burlesque Exposition of 2007.
Scarlett can be seen through out Hollywood and the surrounding areas and every week at The Monday Night Tease, which she co-produces with Miss Lili VonSchtupp.

This event is free to all weekend pass holders for The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weeknd all others are $10, payable at the door. There will be no reserve seating, so please come early to catch a good seat and a table. We plan on a huge turnout for this special event. All dry media is allowed. Nothing messy! If you can spill and and it makes a mess you will not be allowed to use it. There will be pads of paper and sketching materials availabe for a small price. We will be allowing a few photographers. But you need to contact Dr. Sketchy's Las Vegas ahead of time to reserve a spot. There will be contests and prizes! Prizes provided by Calo Style Clothing and The Burlesque Hall of Fame.
